A Night To Remember At The Opera House

A Night To Remember At The Opera House

Wow! That was one for the record books. TC Christian Junior, Simeon Popa, competed in the dance competition at Swingshift and the Stars last Friday night along with his partner and instructor, Rachel Trim, They took their version of a contemporary waltz to the dance floor of the City Opera House…and tore it up!!

Simeon and Rachel earned the highest scores from the judges and in so doing, won the Alumni Award.  At the same time, thanks in large part to the boisterous and hugely supportive TC Christian contingent in the audience, the pair also won the most votes from the crowd and took home the Audience Choice Award. To cap it all off, we raised over $45,000 towards our goal of $100,000 thanks to our generous supporters. What a night!!

Congratulations, Simeon and Rachel, on your exceptional performance at Swingshift and the Stars. You had so many rooting and praying for you and we’re so very proud of your excellent effort! And to those of you who donated, what can we say except ‘thank you’. You knocked our socks off!  To see pictures, click through for rehearsals and TCCS cheerleaders, the performance, and the event in general,

Many, many thanks to Knorr Marketing who made it possible for us to enter this year’s contest.  You bless us continually.  Thank you.
