TC Christian Handmade Market. New Name. New Focus.

The TC Christian Craft Show has undergone a make-over and we’re excited to announce the changes.

As you may know, for many years TC Christian ran a very successful Arts and Crafts Show in late Fall that enjoyed big crowds, lots of sales, and very happy vendors. We really had a good thing going.  And then we lost the plot. Over time, we relaxed our entry requirements and ended up with vendor saturation along with vendors selling pre-made, pre-packaged items that weren’t handmade originals.  As a result, we lost a lot of vendor goodwill.

Hence the need for a makeover.

Two years ago we closed the show in order to refocus and return it to its roots. The new name tells the story: The Traverse City Handmade Market.

This is a show for handmade crafts and originals. Period. To avoid saturation, the show is also now juried. But there’s an even bigger change we think you’ll like. Read on.

In keeping with the refocused roll-out, we’re offering the following:

  • The Sabre Café so you can enjoy tasty refreshments including lunch and coffee
  • Free Wifi so you can keep your business running while you’re at the show
  • A full-on marketing effort to attract the community
  • And the big change, a FREE booth

Yes, there are no booth fees. Your space is FREE.

But here’s the deal: at the close of the show, if you believe we delivered on our promise of a quality show, we’d ask you to make a monetary donation, of whatever amount, to the TC Christian Mission Fund.
