Calling All Moms

| October 17, 2019

As moms, do you ever feel burdened for your children?  As you watch them struggle with the issues of life: school, peers, faith, relationships, choices, do you ever feel powerless?

We are not powerless!!

“Pour out your hearts like water in the presence of the Lord; Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children…” Lamentations 2:19

II Timothy 1:7:  “For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of Power, and of Love, and of a Sound Mind.”

“Every day you have another opportunity to affect your future with the words you speak to God.” (Stormie Omartian)

From one mom’s vision in 1984 has sprung an international organization uniting the hearts of praying moms around the world!  Moms in Prayer’s mission is simple: a group of praying moms in every school, across the nation… and now in 140 countries!

It is our privilege to be a small part of this big movement!  We invite you to join with moms from TC Christian, the nation, and the world as we join in one accord to lift up our most precious commodity: our children.   All moms are welcome to join us in the TCCS Library, Thursday mornings after drop-off

It’s simple: no commitment, nothing to join, no sign-up sheets, freedom to come and go as your schedule allows… simply come and pray for an hour.  (It sounds long– but it goes by fast!).

Moms in Prayer follows the ACTS prayer model:

  • Adore God for His attributes
  • Confess our sins before Him
  • Thank Him for His goodness, blessings, and answers to prayer
  • Present our Supplications (requests) on behalf of our children, staff, and school.

There is no pressure– moms simply pray around the circle as they feel led, agreeing with each other’s requests “ in one accord.”  We’d love for you to come pray with us, anytime!

Consider this quote by founder Fern Nichols:

“Praying together is God’s heart; it’s His command. Over and over again the Bible points out the importance of His people uniting in prayer…. When people who believe in Jesus unite in prayer, burdens become lighter, faith expands, hope and peace are renewed, strength to persevere in prayer increases, and a great expectancy to see God answer grows and flourishes.”

We hope you can join us, and experience the blessing of praying together with fellow moms, and seeing God move in the lives of our children and our school!
