I was put into the elementary school library by the then principal because they needed someone to oversee it. That was 28 years ago and am still excited about my job.
Definitely their enthusiasm. I find myself also being blessed each Wednesday.
Well with all the classes I read aloud to them. With the younger grades I will ask questions perhaps about God creating everything in the world.. With the older elementary grades I will sometimes discuss content in a book, perhaps why the school library does not carry the book. I talk about the responsibility of staff at TCCS to be God honoring in all that they expose students too. We have sometimes stopped and prayed for someone, a teacher, a student who is upset in the classic, etc.
Well with 28 years at TCCS , and 20 years in the public library in the youth services department I have had a tremendous amount of exposure to print media for elementary students.
I have parachuted (in college) and I’ve been up in a hot air balloon. Both great experiences!
Well I still work 20 hours a week at the public library during the summer. I also travel to visit my son and his wife in southern Ohio, and sometimes visit my sister in Florida. Otherwise sitting at the beach, reading a book, cooling off in the bay are all very relaxing.
John 10: 27-28 – My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Spend time with God, in His word, in prayer. Communicate also with your parents.
Definitely Mr. Brodericks. Both of my children went through TCCS and had Mr. Broderick for many years. They then went on to a Christian college that required them to get a Bible minor. So they had to take Bible classes there and they said numerous times that Mr. B could be teaching at the college level. They felt that he did a very good job in preparing them theologically,
