I teach 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and English
I enjoy the relationships I build with my students. I like watching them learn new things and I enjoy helping them navigate through the craziness that is middle school.
I try to always come at the subjects I teach from a Christian Worldview. We discuss current events and put them in a Christian perspective. We view the literature we read through a Christian Worldview. History is viewed through a Christian perspective with discussion about how God shaped these events.
I grew up at TC Christian. I went to school here from the first year it was open when I went into 8th grade until I graduated from high school. My mother (Judy Radtke) has been teaching here since I was in high school. The school is in my blood. I was a lawyer and I loved being a lawyer, but God brought me back to TC Christian and I have never felt more at home. I love being able to share my story and life experiences with my students as I teach them some of my favorite subjects: history and English.
I live a relatively boring life and I’m perfectly happy about that.
I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. We spend as much time outside as possible hanging at the family beach or out on the boat. We go to the family cabin in the Upper Peninsula as much as possible.
Baseball would be my favorite (and not just because I’m married to the coach).
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matt. 6:34
Never say never. God always has a way of putting you exactly where He wants and needs you even if it’s the last thing in the world you thought you would ever be doing. Be ready to jump all in for Him when He asks you to jump.
Any of Dr. B’s classes. I miss sitting in a good Bible or logic class. He brings knowledge and fun to the subject.
