Breathtaking!

TC Christian middle school students gathered around the lab tables in biology class, their eyes wide with a mix of curiosity and initial hesitation as they prepared to dissect the heart, lungs, and windpipe of a farm animal. Despite some initial misgivings, they quickly faded as the hands-on activity began. The students explored the intricate structures of the trachea, bronchi, and spongy lung tissue, and then took turns gently blowing through straws inserted into the windpipe, watching in amazement as the lungs inflated and deflated just like they do inside a living creature. They also carefully opened the heart, revealing its four chambers, thick muscular walls, and the network of valves and vessels. It was an awesome experience to see God’s creation up close. The remarkable attention to detail in every delicate membrane, cartilage ring, and branching airway revealed the care of the Creator. What started as a simple biology lesson became a powerful reminder of the wonder and intentionality woven into every part of God’s world.
