English Teacher (Middle School)

Traverse City Christian School is looking for a certified middle school ELA teacher to work with middle school students for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a valid teaching certification. This teacher should possess a genuine love for God, students, and the mission of Traverse City Christian School. Candidates should be highly motivated and possess an ability to engage students and inspire a love of learning. Candidates must have experience in establishing meaningful relationships and developing a positive rapport with their students, parents, and other staff members. Math Interventionist Teacher (Elementary School)

Traverse City Christian School is looking for a certified math interventionist teacher to work with elementary school students for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will have a genuine love for God, students, and the mission of Traverse City Christian School. Responsibilities include cooperating with classroom teachers to supply intervention to individuals and small groups of children using adopted intervention programs as well as writing individualized math progress reports for identified students. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelors degree, valid Michigan Teaching Certificate, and experience in math instruction/tutoring.

Art Teacher (Part Time)

Traverse City Christian School is looking for an art teacher for K-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will plan and implement an art curriculum that develops the children’s skills in painting, drawing, sketching, designing, and sculpturing.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in education and strong knowledge of instructional practices. Coach – Girls JV Volleyball

Traverse City Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated JV Volleyball Coach. This position is an opportunity to invest in student-athletes both athletically and spiritually, helping them grow in their skills, character, and faith. The JV Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the JV volleyball program, including planning practices, game strategy, player development, and fostering a Christ-centered team culture.

Qualifications

Previous coaching experience preferred
Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategy, and player development
A clear and active Christian faith with a heart for mentoring and discipleship
Ability to lead, motivate, and build meaningful relationships with student-athletes
