About TCCS
Traverse City Christian School serves families in Northern Michigan from preschool through 12th grade. Our mission is to provide an excellent education while fostering a love for God through a balanced curriculum that integrates academics, arts, athletics, Christian study, discipleship, ministry, and missions. We aim to prepare students to live purposefully and transform the world for Jesus Christ.
At TC Christian, students learn to view the world through a biblical lens, understanding it as God’s creation, affected by sin, and redeemed through Christ. Our teachers guide students to use the Bible as a framework for interpreting the world, encouraging them to build others up with language, steward nature, and create meaningful art and music. Through this worldview, students discover their God-given gifts and discern how to use them to serve others, whether by healing, creating, or managing resources for the greater good.
We emphasize both faith and intellectual growth, equipping students with self-discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills to exceed standards and prepare for successful adulthood. Through assignments, assessments, and adventures, students identify their unique aptitudes and life callings, enabling them to advance with focus and purpose.
