Craft Show A Hit!

What a fun outing the annual arts and crafts show at Traverse City Christian School proved to be yesterday! As someone observed, “It was a spectacular community gathering!” The weather couldn’t have been better and an overflowing parking lot and the beaming smiles of crafters and shoppers alike attested to the show’s popularity and success. It was great to welcome the local community onto the TCCS campus as they eagerly explored the huge variety of vendors showcasing their talents.

The artisans’ masterful creations truly delighted the senses, offering everything from the visual beauty of intricate designs and vibrant colors to the inviting textures of handwoven fabrics and carved woods, all enveloped in the the aromas of spiced candles, herbal soaps, and freshly baked treats. It was a sensory overload!

The event doesn’t happen without teamwork and special thanks goes to the small team of volunteer students, parents, and teachers whose hard work made everything come together beautifully. We had a number of vendors who shared how impressed they were with the students they met who willingly offered to help them with setting up and tearing down their booths, and who engaged in polite and mature conversation. Planning is already underway for next year’s show on October 31, 2026. Mark your calendars now for another unforgettable celebration!
