What do you teach / do at TC Christian?

I teach middle school math, 7th grade Bible, and Algebra 1 

What do you enjoy most about working with students?

I love seeing that light bulb light up when they first understand the lesson. I love hearing their crazy stories and learning about their passions and talents.

What unique experience, talent, or interest do you bring to your role to help shape the experience of students and their families?

The students might internally roll their eyes when I manage to bring Spanish into the math lesson, but I LOVE being able to incorporate two subjects in one when possible! 

What would students be surprised to find out about you?

I have my motorcycle endorsement.

How do you spend your summer breaks?

OUTSIDE! I love hiking, running, playing sports, and swimming at the beach! I also love camping and bonfires with friends and family!

What school sport or activity do you enjoy watching?

Just about all of them!

What is your favorite bible verse?

1 Timothy 4:12- Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?

Don’t take TCCS for granted. This is a wonderful place to go to school. Learn all you can, not just academically, but spiritually too.
