Freshmen In DC

The TC Christian freshman were in Washington, DC last week, visiting a variety of notable locations to connect the founding and history of America with the truths of our Christian faith, and reinforce our responsibility to be good citizens and stewards of an amazing legacy.

Team leader, Melissa Wheat, said, “This year’s D.C. trip was a blast! Many sights were seen from the U.S. Capitol to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. A favorite, as always, was the night tour; there is nothing better than D.C. at night. We wrapped up the trip with a new adventure to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center to see the Enola Gay and space shuttle, Discovery, and spent a day at Gettysburg with a necessary stop at Crumbl cookie. The weather was great, memories were made, history was learned, and the 9th grade class spent a lot of time bonding.”
