Owl Dissections

This week, MS students dissected owl pellets as part of their Ecosystem unit in 6th and 7th grade science.  The kids always start out thinking this is going to be “nasty” but it always ends up being a highlight of the year as they discover bones and identify them.  It was a day filled with genuine excitement about learning and exploring.
