Elementary Teacher
Traverse City Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated self-contained elementary teacher who shares our commitment to serving God and nurturing young minds. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of language arts instructional practices.
- Lower elementary experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Alignment with the mission and values of Traverse City Christian School.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum and classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in professional development opportunities.

After School Care (Part Time)
We are seeking a person for our After School Care Program. Candidates must have the ability and desire to work with and care for school-age children ages 5-12. Candidates must pass a TB test, physical exam, background/fingerprint screening, and CPR training. Hours are 2:45 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 11:15 am-5:30 pm on Friday.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or CDA credential from an accredited college.
- Three to six months of childcare-related experience.
OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Alignment with the mission and values of Traverse City Christian School.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum and classroom environment.

Assistant – Double Edge Thrift Shop
We are looking for a responsible person to join our Double Edge team and help keep our store running smoothly. The ideal candidate for this position will have retail/cash register experience and be a team player with a positive attitude. A good sense of humor is a bonus! The candidate should be comfortable with basic math, have good computer skills, and be both organized and a good communicator. This role does require some lifting and standing for long periods of time. Currently, this position would be part-time. There is flexibility with the schedule for this position. This position would be required to work one (occasionally two) Saturday(s) a month. If this sounds like a good fit for you, fill out an application and stop in to see Sara at Double Edge (1781 S.
