What A Weekend!
The Ultimate Homecoming events celebrating TC Christian’s 30th birthday were a resounding success. On Friday, a record-breaking crowd was on-hand to witness the boys’ varsity basketball team preserve their unbeaten record with a thrilling victory over St. Francis. During halftime, the community honored the inaugural inductees into the TC Christian Hall of Fame, adding a meaningful touch of legacy to the festivities (see story below).
On Saturday night, the cafeteria and gym transformed into a nostalgic haven adorned with TCCS memorabilia and photos, inviting attendees on a fun trip down memory lane, complemented by delicious hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments. The evening culminated with an energetic performance by local favorites, Mac Daddy, who delighted the crowd with rock and pop classics. A gallery of pictures will be available next week.
A heartfelt ‘Thank you!’ goes to the amazingly creative talents of TCCS mom, Michele Canfield. She and her decorating team truly transformed the gym and cafeteria into something special. Thanks also to our catering team headed by TCCS Food Services manager, Heather Stagg, who kept everyone fed and watered, and to our dedicated students who arrived early to set up and stayed late to tear down, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
