Everyone agrees it’s been along, hard winter. And nothing’s taken a beating as much as “Ol’ 753” (aka the TC Christian school building).
With that in mind, on April 27 we’re recruiting as many helping hands as possible to do a quick Spring Clean. From 8am-Noon we’ll attack tasks inside and out – windows, floors, bleachers, grounds, painting – you name it. A list of tools to bring; rakes, shovels, pruning tools, wheelbarrow, step stool for exterior window cleaning, etc. And, of course, old work clothes and footwear.
As a bonus, every hour served is doubled so if you and your student are looking for opportunities to knock out service hours, this will help. Think of it like Nehemiah’s Wall. If we each take a small section, the job will be accomplished in next to no time. Also, just a reminder that no-one has to wait for a particular day of the year to help out. TCCS could use help with general volunteering anytime all year round. Just let us know what you can do and when, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
